ABOUT US

Pathway Church exists to disciple people across the street and around so that lives are changed, generations are impacted, communities are improved and Jesus is more fully revealed for the glory of God.

OUR MISSION

A disciple is a follower of Jesus who is becoming more like Jesus by learning from Jesus for the glory of God.

We believe that followers of Jesus should be developing in 10 areas:

worshiping God
abiding in God
detaching from the world
praying
obeying God
caring for others
bearing fruit
enduring hardships
serving the church
discipling others

All of these are driven by loving God and loving others and they are the ways we strive to help people grow in (this is what we mean by "discipling people"):

here's how we STRIVE TO disciple PEOPLE

While discipleship is a multifaceted endeavor, we've categorized our efforts into three groups.

LOVE GOD

We disciple people by helping them love God through worship gatherings, Bible teaching, and spiritual disciplines.

GROW TOGETHER

We disciple people by helping them grow together through community groups, connection events, and collective ministries.

SERVE OTHERS

We disciple people by giving them opportunities to serve others through church programs, community partnerships, and missionary efforts.

OUR BELIEFS

We are a theologically traditional church, but within our beliefs there is diversity of doctrine amongst our people. We think the beliefs below are essential.

OUR PASTOR

OUR PASTOR

Our pastor's name is Chad Harms. He is married to Brynn and they have two kids—a 9 year old daughter named Hazel and a 7 year old son named Hudson. Chad is a lifelong Oregonian who attended Corban University in Salem and Gateway Seminary. He likes good coffee, hiking, retro video games, and playing sports. He's a huge fan of the Portland Trailblazers and Dallas Cowboys.

OUR STORY

In 1989 four families started meeting together in a living room. What God has done since then is astounding. Click below to see some of what God has done in our church.
